Photo is a Bristol LHS, new to Cardiff Corporation in 1976 as their No.104 (LUH 104P). The body is by Eastern Coachworks of Lowestoft and seated 27 (the LHS was a small bus for rural routes). Exactly what it's doing with Trimdon (but still in Cardiff livery) I'm not sure - presumably they bought it second-hand - but surprisingly this bus is still around. It was converted to a caravan after retirement, and is now preserved as such by its present owner, Mr.Mike Taylor of Cardiff (who also has sister-bus No.105 |
